Policy generator

Streamlining policy creation with AI

This AI-backed policy creation flow helps bridge the gap between business strategy and cybersecurity enforcement. It’s designed for business teams and CISOs to collaboratively create enforceable policies—without technical handoffs, confusion, or back-and-forth.

The process begins with choosing a relevant policy template, like M&A or Customer List, which frames the rest of the journey. From there, the user names the policy, defines a timeline, sets access permissions, and describes the purpose—all using plain language.

Each section is clearly marked and collapses as it’s completed, giving a clean sense of progress. Once all inputs are provided, the AI automatically generates logic that turns human-readable intent into precise enforcement rules using keyword matching and Boolean expressions.

Before activating the policy, users can review and edit the logic in plain language, ensuring transparency and control. The end result is a fully operational policy that’s aligned with business needs, technically sound, and deployable at scale—with AI handling the complexity behind the scenes.

It’s faster, clearer, and far more scalable than traditional policy workflows.

The user begins by clicking “Create new policy.” They’re offered several pre-defined templates—like M&A, Customer List, and AI-generated suggestions. These templates scaffold the flow around a specific business context, making policy creation faster and more focused.

After selecting a template (e.g. M&A), the flow expands into a multi-step form. Sections like Name, Description are all listed. Each step is marked with a completion icon (empty, loading, or checkmark) showing visual progress.

The mandatory fields are filled and the user can generate a policy

Here, the user defines the duration or deadline of the policy. The prompt is open-ended: “When is the project expected to complete?” The interface uses natural language and keeps the UI minimal to reduce friction at this step.

This step lets the user specify who should be able to see and work with this policy. The text input is open, but guides like “BizDev team and executives only” help set expectations. This ensures early alignment on who’s responsible and who stays informed.

Once the form is complete, the AI generates a visual rule structure. For example:IF keyword is “Jigsaw”AND NOT keywords are “Puzzle,” “Toy,” or “Saw”
This logic becomes the enforcement layer—what the system will actually monitor, classify, and protect.

The “Create Policy” button becomes active once all fields are complete and the AI logic is confirmed. This screen acts as a final checkpoint—giving the user one last chance to edit or approve before the policy goes live.
